Another fanstastic day on Hwy 2.

Howdy Sports fans and friends, neighbors and normal people.

Today we ate breakfast in Michigan, had lunch in Wisconsin and now supper and rest in Minnesota.  We are about 113 miles away from Grand Forks, North Dakota.  I think I see a buffalo burger in my future.  We have been blessed with good weather, yesterday afternoon a couple of showers, but short lived and today has been awesome.   Roads have been good to us and the motorhome, excluding the rock that put a star crack in my windshield.  I have attached a few photos we took today, unfortunately we did not have the camera ready this am, we had just left the town of Iron Mountain MI., and saw a deer run across the road in front of us.  A short distance down the road I saw what I thought was a buzzard feeding on a dead deer, but when we got close I was shocked to find the most beautiful Eagle I had ever seen.  White feathered head and about a 3 and half ft wing span, after that the turkeys we saw paled in comparison.   We went around the lower edge of Lake Superior today and now I am having a well earned libation while typing this blog.
The above photo is why I prefer two lane roads to Interstates, never a rush hour and the scenery is wonderful.

BTW we are spending the night at a KOA campground in Bemidji, Mn.,(No I did not misspell the town name) for those who are following our movements.  I mentioned earlier in this post, tomorrow we start in the Great American West portion of our tour.  Stay tuned for the next chapter.  Feel free to comment on any of the pages of this blog, good or bad if it will help me make it better, Thank you.
